TELEMANN
German Recording Company CPO, of world renown for its special and unusual repertoire, is recording with the Wallfisch Band, and Elizabeth Wallfisch as soloist,  the complete violin concertos of Telemann, over a period of the next 3 years.
This is a very important collection of works many of which have not yet been recorded, and a very prestigious engagement for the Wallfisch Band.
CPO will also be recording other repertoire with Elizabeth Wallfisch and the Wallfisch Band, for instance, the unpublished virtuoso concertos of Locatelli. CPO have recognized immediately the quality and potential of the Wallfisch Band as a great baroque orchestra.
